John Wright can be heard daily on KLPZ 1380am, broadcasting along the California/Arizona state line in the United States.
Born and raised in Northern Ireland, John dodged the bombs and bullets while taking an early interest in media, becoming a senior editor for a student newsletter and annual magazine for four consecutive years, later producing and editing promotional video and other media as part of various media-related jobs. After undertaking earlier roles in Belfast radio, John now writes, researches, produces and hosts his terrestrial radio show in Arizona each afternoon on 1380am, giving honest, often satirical responses to the news of the day. He also contributes to and produces segments for the station’s morning show and writes and produces audio for commercials and other content.
John spends most of his time on his occupation, wife, son, house-building project and enjoys jetskiing, boating, off-roading, dining and movie-watching. The rest of the time he spends on some writing projects, including contributions to newspapers, most recently pursuing an interest in screenwriting.
This website brings together pieces of audio from John’s KLPZ radio show, Twitter feed and various articles written since 2003 relating to libertarianism, politics, culture, ethics, theology, music, general philosophy, science, technology and movies.
