Well we’ve known for about an hour that it’s unlikely McCain can win, but within the past few minutes it’s become mathematically impossible. So, the 44th president-elect of the United States of America will be …. as virtually everyone predicted …. President Barack Obama. I’m thinking two things simultaneously now.
1) He’ll be a good image for America in 2009, and an astute and nuanced leader.
2) I’m just a little frightened about what he’ll end up doing with his power.
We’ll see.
