I have a Jeep with some fairly big tires, and take it off-roading in the desert, which is a lot of fun. Although I’ve set my own heart racing a few times, I’ve never done anything this crazy. I saw these guys the other night on BBC’s Top Gear; off-roading enthusiasts in Iceland who inject nitrous oxide into their fuel lines to achieve high-torque, high-speed operation to do crazy things (like climb the sides of cliffs and race over the top of a lake). The only thing I can think is that it’s so cold in Iceland, it affects the brain. Actually, it’s called Formula Off-Road, and what fun:
