		<description>I read through the Kirchick article you posted, very good. It may surprise you John that I don't believe Bush lied.  I think it was a mixture of taking advantage of American's need to feel revenge for 9/11, some opportunistic people in Washington, Bush trigger-happy, and some bad intelligence.  But I don't think he deceived the population about it, I think he thought he was doing right.  That doesn't excuse him of course.</description>
