Hi guys, I am a student currently interning in Vietnam. My colleague told me this existed, which brought me to this page.

To answer a few queries, the foxes which eat the coffee fruit in Vietnam are not harmed, and voluntarily eat these coffee beans.

Harvesters then gather the shit beans, and sell it for a hefty price after washing down.

Absolutely disgusting, but amazing.

Let me tell you that this makes me intensely interested in trying it out. I’d be the perfect candidate, since I don’t drink a lot of coffee anyway so if it’s that good, I’ll know. What price was it again?

50 GPB is overpriced. First of all, they aren’t even using the pure Kopi Luwak, they are mixing it with other coffee so it’s diluted. Not only that but you can buy pure Kopi Luwak for as little as $120 per pound in the U.S. and one of the coffee shops in Australia sells a cup for the equivalent of $46 USD, less than half the price of the diluted stuff in this London store.
