My toaster burnt the bread this morning…It never burns my bread. I can only deduce that global warming is to blame: since the air in my kitchen is a bit warmer the toaster went just a bit too far.

Stephen- Yes, some of the ‘evidence’ is that flimsy. I had a caller the other day complain that I took different attitudes toward the science on evolution and the science on global warming. They are worlds apart. We’ve barely begun to explore climate change in any serious capacity. I’m not a skeptic, since the data patently shows a warming trend, but there’s a long way to go and the politicising of it meantime is what makes me wariest of all.
