New readers…

“I’ve only been on this website about a day and a half but I bloody love it.”

This quote today from Joe, a reader who’s been dominating the comments sections over the past day or so. Welcome, Joe. Our traffic is twice what it was this time last year; thank pure, straightforward logic for that, which is missing in much of the blogosphere. The vast majority of readers don’t ever post comments, but if you’ve found this blog recently and you’d just like to introduce yourself, please use the comments section to do it; we’re actually very nice guys and won’t bite.

(By the way, the best way to ensure you never miss an article is to subscribe via RSS for free using the links on the left. For those who aren’t ‘up’ on RSS, I’m looking at the possibility of subscriptions by email, by which anything posted on John-Wright.Net will automatically show up in your inbox. Let me know if you’d find that useful.)

I’ve posted comments a few times but usually am happy just reading. I don’t always agree with you but am always interested in what you say.

Also, I think the email feature would be great.

Like to echo F.G above. I’m not always in agreement and am still in transition on my journey away from the social catastrophe the left has afflicted on the UK, but I appreciate the honest and open feel of this blog and will continue to look on with interest and chip in from time to time.

    Regards to all.

frank, have you tried subscribing in igoogle - that’s what I use -it means I can check all the blogs I read from one page. The reason I always check john and stephens blog is that although I may not always agree with everything they say, I have to think hard about why I disagree - and quite often it turns out that I don’t disagree at all. Just been catching up on the last few weeks posts on my funky new iPod touch ! At last I don’t have to wait till the wife finishes on ebay so I can get on the computer. Just got back from Florida john - do you have a sweet tomatoes restaurant near you? it was veggie heaven!

Dave- Glad you seem to have enjoyed your visit; yes we have Sweet Tomatoes where we are! Honestly I never knew what health food was until I got here to the States; one of the most grossly inaccurate portrayals of the place is that nobody knows how to be healthy. Next time you visit, check out Panera Bread, which has some of the best fresh stuff for lunchtime, and Baja Fresh for a Mexican flair, and In & Out Burger for the best burger and fries made all from fresh (ask without the beef to make it vegetarian). Congratulations also on the iPod Touch, by the way; it’s a fantastic device.

Thanks for the comments guys, it’s great to know you’re out there.
