john your last line sums it all up - their own solutions to this problem are worse than the problem itself and they need to correct their own worldview before trying to use it to solve things that won't be solved in that way. America does a better but far from perfect job of this ourselves, look at Chinatown for example, they've basically tried to create a version of China here in America, running the flag and everything, but without an oppressive dictatorship to interfere. They're lucky bastards, now if only they'd recognize the reason for that and give credit where credit is due, to freedom.

Rick Muir's article in the Guardian is worth reading for its sheer vacuity. It is also encouraging to read the near-universal derision from those posting in the comments below. I'm familiar with the Guardian CommentisFree section as I post there myself, and Muir has managed the rare feat of uniting all strands of opinion represented there.
The IPPR, like much of the race relations 'industry' exists purely to exist, manufacturing new social problems as a 'make-work' exercise and turning them into a spectator sport for the professionally 'concerned' classes. It's worth noting that minority/immigrant groups almost never come out with this kind of tripe, to their credit. It's the self-hating whites who churn it out, to most peoples' bemusement.
