Basically there’s nothing wrong with your arguments. But at which point does a sport start revolving around the drugs an athlete takes instead of the athlete himself?

Will the 2016 Olympic 100 meter dash record by filed under the athletes name or the cocktail of drugs he used?

“… and the gold medal goes to ‘Testosterone/Tetrahydrogestrinone’, the first cocktail to allow a human to run a hundred meters in under 4 seconds!”

Having said that.. yeah, i’d pay to watch the Unlimited Olympics

‘Course, whatever rules they want to have in their professional sports organisations, have at it. But I loved this: “In the early days of the Olympics the games were venerated and the competitors treated like heroes, risking their lives….in the pursuit of excellence. Might not allowing the use of drugs help us recapture that spirit?”

I’m glad to hear that you found the post enjoyable and thought provoking. My sister often says similar things to me. I tell her the conclusion of my argument and she can’t believe that I have such an opinion about some topic. But she’s never so sure that my view is absurd once she goes through the argument. Of course, many people do go through the argument and find themselves still completely unconvinced, and that’s OK too; we can’t all be perfect

Stephen your posts never fail to make me laugh and you guys never fail to raise questions that at first seem preposterous, “What’s wrong with drugs?” and then make coherent arguments that totally make you wonder why you didn’t think of it that way before.
