You know Cadbury's has never done that much for me, I think I'm one of the very few brits who prefers Hershey's, or even better; Reese's Pieces… Mmm, Peanut butter.

Rosalita- Yes I can! There's a place in Santa Monica, off 3rd Street Promenade as I remember, which is actually run by a British lady living in California - it's about a block or two from the beach, just back from Santa Monica Pier. It's a British pub with proper 'pub grub' and Guinness, and a small shop with Cadbury's chocolate, imported and a couple of dollars a bar. It would be well worth a visit if you live anywhere near here - other than that, check out any British store, as they appear to do quite well in certain areas. The lady I spoke to in Santa Monica says she gets tons of British people in for a Cadbury's fix - there are a LOT of British expats in Southern California, apparently.

I agree. Cadbury isn't chocolate. It's so much more than that. It's a culinary delightful tastebud tingling existential experience.

SG

There are some other interesting facts about Cadbury's chocolate: for example did you know that Crunchie honeycomb is produced by carbonation, just like Coca-Cola?

Or that Cadbury's Flake was an idea that came from overfilling moulds? - the excess chocolate would inadvertently fold down in a stream and form something like Flake on the side.

Or that Cadbury's Turkish Delight and Fry's Turkish Delight use exactly the same ingredients, the only difference being the quantities of chocolate and filling used in each?
